I have heard about the Younique 3D Mascara for quite a while now. Been invited to some parties and always turned down the offer. Heard about it some more and I thought really, can it be THAT good?! So I finally broke down and bought one and let me tell you yes, it is THAT GOOD!! At $29, some might think it is a little much for mascara. But coming from someone who has literally tried every mascara out there, $29 is a steal for this!
How it works. It's a two part set. You apply the first part, the mascara gel, then you immediately apply the fiber lash part, super easy and BOOM..... lashes like you have never seen before! FABULOUS lashes!! Two part set is too much work I told myself. As a very, very busy working mom, I don't have time for that. It is SO, SO easy! The two part takes less time than applying normal mascara! It's applied it like any other mascara out there. Quick, easy, done... Oh how I love that!
I personally love supporting home based businesses. It's what I do. I pay $24 for my benefit They're Real mascara now that I get at Ulta... so for an extra $6 I can get fabulous lashes and support a home based business. An absolute win/win for me! I need just a little more practice with this to get it to perfection but all in all it's my new favorite find for sure!
Below are some pictures of the mascara personally on me. I am also a big fan on the Urban Decay Naked 2 pallet and that is what I am wearing on my eyes.
If want to try them out, here is there person that can get you a one! She is absolutely fabulous and yep...I told her I was gonna show her some love on the blog! www.youniqueproducts.com/Amytaylor208

My first Stitch Fix
Well I took the plunge! I have heard so many wonderful things about Stitch Fix that I gave in and ordered my first fix! With a 16 month old, clothes mailed right to my house is about the best thing ever invented. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE a good mall like no other... but having a toddler makes mall shopping a little less enjoyable! They totally under promise and over deliver right away because they said it would be here Friday the entire time and there it was on my porch Thursday! Already love them for that! I opened the box and wasn't in love with the selections right away. But I didn't rule them out! First of all if you don't know what Stitch Fix is, here is a quick run down. You pay $20 and fill out a quick style profile. They then assign you a stylists and that stylist picks out 5 items that you might like and sends them to you. You then have 3 days to decide if you want to keep any (or all) of the items they send. Of course the offer you 25% off if you purchase your entire box and you get your $20 styling fee back in credit to spend on anything you want to buy. I kind of told myself I would purchase one thing from each box to at least get my $20 back. They send you a postage paid envelope to mail the items you don't like back and boom... done! Just like that. Some lesson's I learned on my first box, don't give up on the first one, go back into your style profile and be more specific, and you can even attach a Pinterest board for your stylist to get inspiration from! I did that and I am super excited for Fix #2!
Here is my review of FIX #1
All pictures I am wearing the Liverpool Loren Bootcut jean they sent. At $78, they were a great, dark jean. However, I tend to lean more towards a skinny jean these days and returned it. I was more specific in my next fix coming in September on this.
Loveappella - Tampa Knit top $48. Nailed it! I love a knit top like no other. I can dress this up for work or dress it down for casual. Pair it with a scarf or necklace and even wear it under a vest or Jacket for fall so of course, I kept it!
Market & Spruce - Cordelia Striped Boat Neck Sweater $58. This fit was too baggy for me. Although it was a great sweater for fall and winter, I returned it.
Laila Jayde - Bovina Dolman Knit Top $58. A great top for late summer/fall. Just not a style I would normally enjoy wearing, I returned it.
Le Lis - Nassau Lace Detail Cardigan $48. This was actually a great cardigan. One I could wear to work and for casual as well. I really went back and forth on this one, but in the end, I returned it.
I would recommed Stitch fix!! All in all, it is a great concept and I can't wait for more! Want to try it out.... here is a link to learn a little more: https://www.stitchfix.com/referral/4380322
